Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to lead its Intake Department, driving the intake process with a focus on client engagement and case evaluation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the intake team, ensuring clients receive exceptional support from their initial inquiry through case evaluation, while implementing a sales-driven approach to client intake.

Duties:

  • Lead and Manage Intake Team: Oversee the intake process, providing training, mentorship, and direction to intake staff to improve client interactions and case assessments.
  • Client Consultations: Engage with potential clients to evaluate case details, establish rapport, and manage expectations through compassionate and knowledgeable discussions.
  • Sales-Driven Intake Process: Integrate a client-centered, sales-focused approach to intake calls, guiding clients through their decision-making process with clarity and empathy.
  • Case Evaluation and Viability Assessment: Review each potential case's facts and circumstances to determine its suitability for legal action, ensuring a streamlined intake workflow.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance the intake process to boost efficiency, optimize conversion rates, and elevate the client experience.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to define departmental goals, analyze performance data, and ensure the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Legal Expertise: Active state bar license and significant experience in personal injury law.
  • Sales and Communication Skills: Strong persuasive communication skills with the ability to engage potential clients empathetically.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading a team within a legal or client-facing environment is preferred.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to identify areas for improvement and streamline intake procedures to maximize operational efficiency.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD): From an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law in the state(s) where the firm operates.

Skills:

  • Client-Focused Approach: Demonstrated ability to connect with clients and guide them through the legal process with compassion and authority.
