The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of transactional tax experience, with a focus on fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. Direct experience in an AmLaw 100 firm or SEC environment is preferred. The role requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in good standing.
  • Admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
  • 2+ years of transactional tax experience, with specific expertise in fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
  • Previous experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
