Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategies tailored to their specific business goals.
  • Analyze the competitive and regulatory landscape within client-specific industries.
  • Manage all aspects of structuring, due diligence, negotiation, execution, implementation, and post-deal integration for complex acquisitions and investment transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Advise on corporate governance and other general corporate principles.
  • Interact directly with business people, investment professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a highly-functioning deal team.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience with a strong focus on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.
  • Experience in drafting definitive transaction documents.
  • Proficiency in the due diligence review process.

Education and Certifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nebraska Bar or eligibility to be admitted.
