Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in labor and employment cases, focusing on plaintiff-side litigation.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and case management.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Review and analyze employment law-related legal issues, providing strategic advice to clients.
  • Communicate legal concepts and case updates to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to persuasively convey ideas and emotions in written form.
  • Willingness to learn and practice exclusively in labor and employment law.
  • Ability to relocate to Houston, TX prior to starting work.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar (Texas or eligible to be licensed in Texas).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
