Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and driven Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team in Atlanta, GA. In this position, you will be responsible for representing clients with compassion and dedication, ensuring they receive excellent care and favorable outcomes. The role involves managing cases from start to finish, including client meetings, case evaluations, trial preparation, and liaising with insurance companies to update clients on the status of their claims.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, providing expert legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on the status of claims and offers.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while building strong client relationships.
• Evaluate cases to assess their merits and advise clients on legal strategies and outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Prepare cases for trial, including the development of strategies, motions, and gathering evidence.
• Represent clients as lead counsel in court, including managing first-chair trial responsibilities.
• Communicate with insurance companies to discuss claims, demands, and offers on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with legal teams and staff to ensure timely and efficient case handling.
• Maintain a proactive approach to case management and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Full-time availability.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years of experience in litigation, specifically in personal injury law.
• Proven first-chair trial experience, with the ability to manage trials from start to finish.
• Member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to reach favorable settlements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client representation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Experience evaluating claims and providing sound legal advice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
