A law firm seeks a seasoned attorney with over 10 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and litigation to take on the role of President and Senior Attorney. Duties

  • Lead the firm as President, driving the strategic vision and achieving business goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of the estate planning and probate practice areas, ensuring the highest level of legal services.
  • Manage probate disputes, estate-related litigation, and related matters.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff, fostering professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and stakeholders to enhance firm growth.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant estate planning, probate, and tax laws, offering expert legal counsel to clients.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to improve operational efficiency and maintain steady growth.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and litigation.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a legal team or firm.
  • Extensive experience handling complex probate disputes and estate-related litigation.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of driving team success.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to grow and lead a legal practice.
  • Active membership in the Michigan Bar Association.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in Michigan (required).
