A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for its Phoenix, AZ office:

Job Overview:

• Engage in client communication, representing their interests throughout legal proceedings.
• Handle deposition taking and defense, ensuring adequate representation.
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary documents for cases.
• Lead mediations to negotiate favorable settlements.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies and execute them effectively, including taking cases to trial when necessary.

Duties:

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide legal counsel.
• Take and defend depositions during the discovery process.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Lead mediations to facilitate settlement negotiations.
• Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Represent clients in court, including trials and hearings.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
• Proficiency in drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
