A law firm seeks a skilled Intellectual Property Associate to join its Chicago, IL office, focusing on patent prosecution and related services. This role includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patentability and clearance assessments, managing patent portfolios, and advising on licensing and enforcement. Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients in various industries.
• Conduct patentability evaluations and clearance studies.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed attorney; 3+ years preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
