Duties:

• Handle a broad spectrum of general litigation matters, including securities litigation, construction, commercial litigation, employment disputes, tort, and transportation litigation
• Manage cases from initiation to resolution, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court, including taking and defending depositions
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with senior partners and clients
• Engage in legal research and provide analysis to support litigation efforts
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Advise clients on legal rights and litigation strategies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in trial law and general litigation
• Proven experience handling complex litigation matters, including securities, construction, commercial, and employment law
• Extensive courtroom and deposition experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain)
