Job Overview:

As a Litigation Associate, the candidate will gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters from inception to resolution. Duties:

  • Handle a variety of litigation matters, including wrongful death, contract disputes, premises liability, and personal injury claims
  • Develop legal strategies and assist in drafting pleadings and motions
  • Manage discovery and participate in the litigation process
  • Argue motions in court and attend mediations and trials
  • Client management, ensuring a high level of communication and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and work as part of a team to achieve successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an attorney, preferably in civil litigation
  • Courtroom experience and knowledge of depositions; trial experience is a plus
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with a team
  • Client-focused mindset and a passion for delivering successful outcomes
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in the jurisdiction in which the attorney will practice or a jurisdiction with reciprocity (must meet all eligibility requirements for admission on motion)
