Job Overview: A reputable law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its commercial loan workout and foreclosure department. This position requires a strong background in commercial loan workouts and mortgage foreclosure litigation, with a specific focus on New Jersey foreclosure procedures.

Duties:

• Manage commercial mortgage foreclosure cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Oversee a caseload of foreclosure litigation, ensuring timely compliance with all deadlines.
• Represent clients in court settings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal services.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case developments and consultations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
• Admission to the Bar in New Jersey and/or New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation from inception through trial.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New Jersey and/or New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Profound knowledge of foreclosure laws and regulations, particularly in New Jersey.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with foreclosure software, including Lexus Nexus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
