Job Title: Senior Patent Attorney

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Patent Attorney with 12 years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. The candidate will assist the team in patent preparation/prosecution, drafting patent opinions, IP diligence, and strategic IP business counseling. Individuals or groups of attorneys seeking new opportunities are encouraged to apply. Duties:

  • Assist in patent preparation/prosecution.
  • Draft patent opinions, IP diligence, and strategic IP business counseling.
  • Handle all stages of patent preparation/prosecution, including drafting original applications, foreign filings, responding to official actions, and appeals.
  • Network with and market to prospective new clients.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in State Bar.
  • 12 years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications.


Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.


Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in State Bar.


Skills:

  • Experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
