Job Overview:

The Junior to Mid-level Global Franchise and Supply Network Associate Attorney will work on a variety of matters related to franchise and distribution law, including structuring and developing franchise programs, drafting legal documents, advising clients on compliance and regulatory matters, and resolving franchise-related disputes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and structure franchise and distribution programs for clients in various industries.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and other related contracts.

  • Perform state franchise registrations and ensure ongoing compliance with state-specific requirements.

  • Review and negotiate supply contracts and other transactions related to global distribution networks.
  • Research and analyze evolving franchise and distribution laws both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide strategic legal advice on expanding global franchise systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory changes affecting franchise operations.
  • Support clients in navigating international trade laws and franchise regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
  • 2-4 years of experience in franchise and distribution law or related practice areas.
  • Experience working in a law firm environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of both domestic and international franchise law.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
