Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, trials, and negotiations.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Stay current with changes in laws, rules, and regulations.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Develop and implement legal strategies in case management.
• Participate in legal professional organizations and associations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for family law experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive matters.
• Familiarity with state court procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar admission is required.
