Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, is actively seeking skilled and motivated litigation attorneys to join their team. Ideal candidates will have experience in General Liability and/or Professional Liability cases, although those with broader litigation backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. As a key member of the firm, you will be responsible for representing clients at all stages of litigation and will be provided with ample opportunities for growth and career development.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation, from initiation to expert discovery.
• Attend and manage court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft discovery requests, motions, case evaluations, court orders, settlement agreements, affidavits, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Review and analyze discovery responses, and depositions, and prepare summaries and litigation update reports.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle claims.
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation process, providing legal analysis, status updates, and advice.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
• Preference for candidates with litigation experience in General Liability or Professional Liability matters.
• Proven ability to draft discovery documents, take the lead on depositions, and argue motions.
• Strong writing and organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, particularly in General and Professional Liability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Negotiation skills with opposing counsel.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
