A reputable family law and estate planning law firm is seeking an experienced Elder Law Attorney for a hybrid position. This role involves handling legal matters related to elderly clients, including estate planning, long-term care issues, and guardianship.

Location

Duties

  • Provide legal guidance on elder law issues, estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Draft legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and business formation documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop asset protection and preservation plans.
  • Address special needs planning and other related legal matters.
  • Work with clients, attorneys, and staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Long-term Care.
  • Active Washington State Bar license in good standing.
  • Experience in guardianship and elder advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid Washington State Bar license (required).

Skills

  • Strong legal drafting and communication skills.
  • Proficient in managing client relationships and case workflows.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid estate planning and trusts for high-net-worth estates.
