A well-established law firm in Bryan, TX, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from intake to resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and mediation
• Represent clients in court and during negotiations, advocating for their best interests
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer guidance throughout the legal process
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to support case management
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Develop strategies for resolving cases effectively and efficiently
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in laws that impact personal injury cases

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• 5+ years of experience in personal injury law
• Licensed to practice law in Texas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation and trial skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively advocate in court
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Ability to maintain a client-focused approach with empathy and professionalism
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Texas State Bar certification
