Duties:

• Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, and other tools to support case preparation
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Assist in preparing cases for trial by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating with experts
• Communicate with clients to gather case information, provide updates, and discuss strategies
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases related to personal injury, patent law, and workers' compensation
• Attend court hearings and depositions as needed to represent clients and assist with litigation
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and documentation, ensuring compliance with firm policies

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in the state of Illinois
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, patent law, and workers' compensation law preferred
• Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks
• Excellent research skills, with experience using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual caseloads effectively
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in Illinois
