Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A growing and client-focused law firm in Media, PA, specializing in elder law, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney. The firm focuses on Life Care Planning, Estate Planning, Asset Protection for VA and Medicaid, Special Needs Planning, and Estate Administration. Duties:

  • Lead client consultations, offering strategic recommendations and asset protection advice tailored to client goals.
  • Supervise and collaborate with team members to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents.
  • Conduct signing appointments and meet with clients to provide ongoing guidance.
  • Participate actively in weekly case review meetings with the team.
  • Engage in community outreach and maintain memberships at local and state levels to expand the firm’s presence and brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling elder law or estate planning cases.
  • Ability to provide strategic legal guidance in a client-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in estate planning, public benefits, guardianships, probate, trust administration, administrative hearings, and asset protection.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar.

Certifications:

  • Life Care Planning experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of elder law and estate planning.
  • Ability to work effectively with elders and individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
