Personal Injury Tort Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a talented Personal Injury Tort Associate Attorney with over 4 years of personal injury tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have immediate client contact and responsibilities, with opportunities to engage in trial and appellate work. Professional communication skills and strong academic credentials are essential for this role.

Job Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury tort litigation cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Provide immediate client contact and assume responsibilities from the outset.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure effective case management.
• Stay current with developments in personal injury tort law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is a plus.
• Over 4 years of personal injury tort litigation experience.
• Trial and/or appellate experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is a plus.
