Location:

Duties:

  • Handle personal injury and insurance civil litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and manage cases from inception to trial.
  • Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives effectively.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work full-time (Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week).
  • Must be able to commute if not a resident of Hernando County.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
