Business Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated lawyer with 5+ years of experience in business litigation. Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation matters.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery processes and conduct depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitration.
• Collaborate with team members and external parties to gather relevant case information.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various business-related issues.
• Stay current with legal trends, changes in laws, and relevant industry regulations.
• Contribute to business development by engaging in networking events, writing articles, and making presentations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling.
• Proven ability to handle cases independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to case management and business development.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines.
• Experience with legal research platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top 50 ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
