Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a driven and results-oriented Personal Injury Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload in its Fort Myers office. This role requires a proactive legal professional who can advocate for clients, navigate personal injury claims effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment. Duties:

• Manage a substantial caseload of personal injury claims from inception to resolution.

• Advocate for clients in auto accident, slip and fall, and workers’ compensation cases.

• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.

• Provide legal counsel to clients, addressing their concerns and explaining case progress.

• Develop case strategies and make key legal decisions under time-sensitive conditions.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and demand letters.

• Work collaboratively with legal staff, including paralegals and support teams.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and litigation skills.

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving and client consultation abilities.

• Familiarity with Florida personal injury laws and procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar (Required).

Skills:

• In-depth understanding of auto accident, slip and fall, and workers’ compensation claims.

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
