Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload independently. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation, from inception to resolution, with a focus on discovery practice, court appearances, and client communication.

Job Details:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, overseeing cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct extensive discovery practice, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Regularly appear in court for hearings and trials, as well as take and defend depositions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and status reports on cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Delaware.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in areas such as commercial, corporate, or professional liability.
• Strong discovery skills, including experience with e-discovery tools and procedures.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents.
• Superior academic credentials reflecting outstanding legal acumen.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom advocacy.
