Duties:

  • Conduct due diligence and manage legal risk associated with transactions.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders throughout transaction processes.
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance issues.

  • Mentor junior associates and support their professional development.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship management.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on private equity, leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Prior experience in a large law firm environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and corporate matters independently.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and achievements.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia (DC).
