Job Overview:

The firm represents homeowners, contractors, consumers, and small businesses in a variety of business disputes, including contract cases, real estate litigation, construction issues, and intellectual property disputes. Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, pleadings, and draft orders.
• Assist lead attorney in preparing for hearings.
• Manage case progress and ensure compliance with case management deadlines.
• Coordinate discovery processes with paralegals and legal support staff.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on a broad range of legal matters.
• Meticulously track and bill time for all legal tasks performed.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to a high-energy work environment.
• 0-5 years of experience in a law firm or similar setting.
• Previous experience with Clio software is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.

Education:

• Law degree with at least cum laude honors.
• Graduated in the top 25% of law school class.
• Achieved a minimum LSAT score of 155.
• High achievement in legal research and writing coursework.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (in good standing).

Skills:

• Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
