Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to clients on their rights and options, and draft legal documents relevant to their cases.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice after each session.
• Handle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Assess likely case outcomes using a deep understanding of legal precedents.
• Maintain and manage a workload of active cases effectively.
• Perform thorough legal analyses to evaluate potential case benefits for clients.
• Gather additional evidence to strengthen clients' cases or challenge prosecution arguments.
• Prepare clients for depositions and develop case strategies by consulting witnesses and expert opinions.

Requirements:

• Proven interest in criminal defense law demonstrated through law school clinics, internships, or volunteer experience.
• Juris Doctorate.
• Ability to collaborate and strategize effectively within a team environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in advancing legal cases and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Familiarity with case management software is an advantage.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Nevada.
