A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced attorney to join its Real Estate practice group in Austin, TX. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a 2-4 year attorney to contribute to a diverse range of real estate legal matters, with strong potential for professional growth. The ideal candidate will provide legal support across real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and development while collaborating closely with clients and other attorneys within the firm.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts and agreements
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and title reviews for real estate transactions
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements for real estate matters
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient delivery of services
  • Maintain updated knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored legal advice to support their business goals
  • Work outside normal business hours when required
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate law, including transactional work
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions and relevant regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Texas Bar license required

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex real estate transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software applications for document management and review
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a legal team
