Duties:

  • Represent clients, including owners, contractors, and design professionals, in construction-related disputes.
  • Handle complex construction litigation, including trials and arbitration.
  • Manage and oversee all phases of case preparation, including research, drafting pleadings, and discovery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal counsel.
  • Provide expert legal advice on issues related to construction contracts, disputes, and claims.
  • Advocate for clients in court and arbitration hearings, presenting compelling arguments.
  • Work closely with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to ensure case success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Proven experience representing owners, contractors, and design professionals in trials and arbitration.
  • Ability to manage complex construction disputes from start to finish.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Skills:

  • Expertise in construction law and litigation.
  • Trial and arbitration experience.
  • Strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize complex caseloads.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and construction-related disputes.
