Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop action plans and budgets for new cases and offer strategic recommendations.
• Review pleading requirements and delegate tasks effectively to paralegals.
• Manage document production and prepare comprehensive discovery responses.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing detailed reports.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare trial materials when necessary.
• Communicate consistently with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an eagerness to learn new legal technology tools.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for client and team interaction.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of practice.
