A law firm in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of general transactional experience, particularly focused on finance, project finance, or public finance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Admission to and good standing with the Texas Bar is required.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the structuring, drafting, and negotiating of financing documents for public finance transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to public finance matters, including tax-exempt bonds, municipal bonds, and government financing.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop financing strategies and solutions.
  • Review and analyze financing agreements, disclosure documents, and regulatory filings.
  • Provide support in due diligence processes and prepare transactional documents.
  • Attend client meetings, hearings, and negotiations as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of general transactional experience, specifically focused on finance, project finance, or public finance.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Admission to the Texas Bar and good standing.
  • Experience in public finance transactions preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
