The attorney will be responsible for providing exceptional legal representation to insurance carrier clients in a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense. Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of complex litigation matters, primarily focused on personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense.
  • Work closely with an experienced partner to discuss litigation strategies and ensure excellent client service.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Engage in negotiations to resolve cases and achieve favorable settlements.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
  • Collaborate with legal support staff and colleagues to provide high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general liability defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, or insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
