Duties:

  • Handle discovery, law and motion work, and depositions in sexual abuse, personal injury, wrongful death, and police misconduct cases

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategy

  • Assist in case management, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is properly maintained

  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support

  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information for cases

  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

  • Prepare detailed reports and legal correspondence

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in sexual abuse, personal injury, wrongful death, or police misconduct cases

  • Significant experience with discovery, law and motion, and depositions

  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex case files

  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients

  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California

Skills:
