Job Overview: A law firm seeks a seasoned Litigation Of Counsel to join their San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a strong preference for those with a background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Supervise and mentor associates on case strategy and legal matters.
  • Collaborate with experts and assist in fact development and depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Contribute to the development of case strategy and litigation plans.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Admission to practice law in New York and California.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
