Job Overview: A law firm seeks a passionate and experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join its remote team. The attorney will focus on representing high-skill, self-petitioning clients seeking EB-1a, and EB-2 NIW visas, and handling some O-1 visa cases. This position requires strong writing, research, and analytical skills to manage a diverse and active immigration caseload. The role also involves preparing clients for consular interviews and assisting with adjustment of status (AOS) and consular processing (CP) issues as they arise.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in the preparation and filing of EB-1a, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 visa petitions.
  • Assist clients with consular processing and adjustment of status after I-140 and I-129 approvals.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to self-petitioning professionals and individuals in high-skill categories.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal arguments to support complex immigration filings.
  • Work closely with clients to gather information, review documentation, and ensure timely submission of filings.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a team of immigration attorneys to develop strategies for clients’ immigration goals.
  • Prepare clients for consular interviews and handle any issues related to AOS and CP processes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the United States (any state).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration, particularly with self-sponsored petitions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a large volume of cases efficiently.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for immigration law.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Expertise in business immigration, particularly EB-1a, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 visa petitions.
  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and preparing complex immigration petitions.
