A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a Real Estate Counsel who is passionate about representing leading renewable energy clients in a wide range of real property development matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality client service.

Job Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on real estate transactions related to renewable energy development projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence investigations, including title examinations and environmental assessments.
  • Advise on zoning regulations, land use issues, and permitting requirements impacting real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex real estate issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 1-3 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on title matters for renewable energy development.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance principles and project financing structures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in Real Estate Law or Energy Law from a recognized legal association or institution.
