Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to support the foreclosure department in its Indiana office. The ideal candidate will handle mortgage foreclosure litigation, manage caseloads from start to finish, and represent clients in a variety of legal proceedings.

Duties:

  • Independently manage mortgage foreclosure cases from initiation to resolution.
  • Perform legal research and draft relevant pleadings, motions, and court documents.
  • Handle a caseload of foreclosure litigation, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Illinois and/or Indiana.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure litigation.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage litigation cases from inception to trial.
  • Familiarity with legal software such as LPS/Black Knight and Tempo is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois and/or Indiana State Bar.
