Litigation Associate

Job Overview:

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate for its San Diego, CA office. This role involves representing national and international clients in complex litigation matters, including products liability, consumer protection, and mass action litigation. The ideal candidate will handle all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial, while working with a dynamic legal team.

Location:

• San Diego, CA

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Represent manufacturers and corporations in state and federal courts, including consumer fraud and product liability cases.

• Manage document productions and coordinate with expert witnesses.

• Draft and argue discovery and dispositive motions.

• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

• Act as national coordinating counsel for high-profile litigation matters.

• Work closely with in-house counsel and corporate clients.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in complex litigation, preferably in products liability or consumer protection.

• Previous experience at a mid-size or large law firm is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar (must be in good standing).
