Mid-level Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate Attorney

A law firm in Macon, GA is seeking a Mid-level Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate Attorney with 3+ years of meaningful experience in data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and arguing motions, managing document productions, and contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Duties:

• Draft and argue discovery and other motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage document productions
• Provide legal counsel on data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis in relevant practice areas
• Assist with case management and trial preparation
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Maintain client relationships and provide excellent client service

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• In good standing with either the State Bar of Georgia or the Mississippi Bar
• 3+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity at a mid-size or large law firm
• Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach to tasks
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork

Education:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
