Associate Attorney General Litigation (Mid-Level)

Duties:

• Represent clients in court, advocating for their interests during legal proceedings and motions.
• Analyze client needs, develop case strategies, and offer tailored legal solutions.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case strategies.
• Supervise and mentor administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks in their daily tasks.
• Handle client communication and keep them informed of case progress and developments.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure the success of legal matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with 1-2 years of experience in a law firm environment, handling a variety of cases.
• Strong knowledge of legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
• Active membership in the local bar association is preferred.
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid public speaking and advocacy skills for courtroom appearances.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the local bar association is required.
