A law firm seeks a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join its legal team. This position is remote and based in California. The successful candidate will handle various legal matters, including Family Law, Immigration Law, and Estate Planning, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, including Tribal Law regulations. Duties:

  • Provide legal representation and counsel in Family Law, Immigration Law, and Estate Planning cases.
  • Draft precise and effective legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements that align with clients' best interests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to inform case preparation and strategy development.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of client interactions and case progress using the firm's administrative systems.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, including Tribal Law, and integrate changes into practice.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case management and client-focused solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and active membership.
  • Proven expertise in legal drafting, negotiation, and providing sound legal advice.
  • Familiarity with Family Law, Immigration Law, Estate Planning, and Tribal Law regulations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to address complex legal issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and advocate on their behalf.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar membership is required.
