Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Handle civil litigation cases with a focus on general negligence and insurance defense
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and motions
• Perform legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
• Provide clients with regular updates and ensure effective communication throughout the litigation process
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex cases

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant litigation experience
• Proven experience in civil litigation, general negligence, and insurance defense
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
• Comfortable conducting and defending depositions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent courtroom experience and trial preparation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Texas
