Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Winston-Salem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate should possess strong drafting and organizational skills, outstanding academic credentials, and a solid background in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an Am Law 100 law firm. This role requires a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate matters to clients within the private equity, venture capital, and joint venture sectors.
• Assist in due diligence processes for various transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• 3-5 years of private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactional experience.
• Experience within an Am Law 100 law firm is preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
