Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess new cases, establish action plans, and budgets, and provide recommendations.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants based on pleading requirements.
• Prepare discovery responses and oversee document production processes.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, preparing detailed reports.
• Negotiate settlements and handle preparations for trial as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal support staff to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of Workers' Compensation or relevant legal experience.
• 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience 
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Georgia.
