Duties

• Advise clients on borrower-side private credit and acquisition finance transactions.
• Draft, negotiate, and review financing agreements and related legal documentation.
• Collaborate with private equity sponsors to structure and close acquisition financings.
• Conduct legal analysis and provide strategic guidance on leveraged finance matters.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with stakeholders, including lenders and financial institutions.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments impacting the finance industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in borrower-side private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance.
• Prior involvement with sponsor-side private equity acquisition financings is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the California State Bar (active and in good standing).

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
