Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including financing and acquisitions.
  • Provide expert legal advice on real estate finance, leveraging transactions, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, loan agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and analyze legal risks associated with real estate deals.
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing clear and actionable legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive legal representation.
  • Stay current with developments in real estate law and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, including both lender and borrower-side transactions.
  • Experience with leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is highly desirable.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar (FL Bar admission required).
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
