Workers' Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their growing team in Newport Beach, CA. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work remotely while assisting clients with workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping injured workers, with or without prior experience in workers' compensation law. Training and support will be provided for candidates with a strong drive to make a difference.

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and depositions.
• Engage in negotiations and settlements to resolve workers' compensation claims effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and case management plans.
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary documentation for workers' compensation cases.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the workers' compensation process.

Requirements:

• Passion for helping injured workers and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
• Previous workers' compensation experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in workers' compensation law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.
