Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned attorney with at least 8 years of experience in commercial lease transactions to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role involves leading lease negotiations and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements, including term sheets and letters of intent.
• Supervise and mentor junior leasing attorneys.
• Engage with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, and other relevant parties.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clarity and responsiveness.
• Produce high-quality deliverables within set deadlines.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Adhere to firm policies and procedures.
• Participate in various work activities, including meetings and digital calls.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in commercial leasing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD).

Certifications:

• Active New York Bar admission.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of commercial leasing markets and related issues.
• Experience with diverse property types, including office and retail.
• Proven track record representing landlords.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
