A prominent law firm in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Consular Processing Immigration Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, work closely with clients, and collaborate with a team of experienced immigration attorneys and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about immigration law, particularly consular processing and waivers, and will have a track record of managing cases efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of Consular Processing/Waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, consular processing, and K-Visa applications.
• Prepare clients for consulate interviews, ensuring clear communication and effective strategy.
• Represent clients before USCIS and other immigration authorities.
• Review and finalize immigration application packets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise a team of paralegals, overseeing case management and meeting productivity goals.
• Provide legal analysis and guidance to clients, identifying potential case benefits and strategies.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs and other documentation for various immigration cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Strong experience in consular processing applications and waivers.
• Proven ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with case management software is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in good standing in the state of Arizona (or eligible for licensure).

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar.
