Duties:

• Draft standard and sophisticated estate planning documents tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist clients with domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning, and provide support for international estate tax planning as needed.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients and co-advisors, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to service excellence.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, sharing insights and strategies to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to support clients' estate planning objectives, presenting findings clearly and concisely.
• Stay current on developments in estate planning and tax law to provide informed guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in estate planning or a similar legal field.
• Proven experience in drafting various estate planning documents, showcasing attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning; international estate tax planning experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively.
• A strong academic background, with an LLM considered a plus.
• Must be eligible to sit for the California Bar exam.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar is required or must be eligible for admission.
